Overview: Students will learn how to
identify successful troubleshooting resources and procedures; identify common
Windows NT system architecture components that provide a foundation for
troubleshooting; modify the Windows NT Registry; identify problems with the
boot process; and use stop screens.
Prerequisites: To ensure your continued
success, students are strongly encouraged to first complete the
Software Training course Windows NT 4.0: System Architecture and Network
Support, or have extensive equivalent
knowledge, and have a basic understanding of the Internet. For example, you should
know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from
CDs and other media. The
class, Internet
Explorer 5.x is designed to teach these skills, though they are not required.
