Windows NT 4.0: System Administration

Course length: 3 days

Course description

Overview: Students will learn how to administer users, groups, and domains in a Windows NT 4.0 network.

Benefits: Students will learn how to create and administer user and group accounts, manage network resources, and set up and administer permissions for files and folders. Students will learn to establish trusts, set up and administer network printers, and use auditing functions to generate and view security logs. Students will also learn how to perform tape backups.

Target student: Students enrolling in this course should be familiar with the Windows NT 4.0 user interface and have experience supporting networks and end users.

What's next: Windows NT 4.0: System Administration is the first course in this series.
