Course description
Overview: Students will build upon the skills acquired in Excel 97: Worksheets and Excel 97: Charting and Organizing Data to learn the skills and concepts necessary to work with advanced features of Excel 97. This course meets the Microsoft Proficiency Guidelines for Excel at the Expert level.
Prerequisites:
To ensure your continued success, students
must first take the
Software Training courses, Excel 97: Worksheets, and Excel 97: Charting
and Organizing Data, and have a good working knowledge of the Windows
98 environment.
Delivery method: Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.
Benefits: Students will learn how to customize toolbars, create pivot tables, link files, consolidate data, and record macros.
Target student: Students enrolling in this course should understand the basic concepts involved in using Excel 97. For example, students should be familiar with data types (text and values), copying data, basic formulas and functions, and opening and saving files.
